A foot pedal (6) links to a vehicle module (1) and its operation is evaluated electrically. A control unit fits on a printed circuit board (26,26') for a system support (25). A cable tree (32) is feed partly along the system support. The vehicle module fits on a steering type axle (23) and the system support fits round this axle. A steering angle sensor fits on the steering type axle or on a steering wheel (3). Rotation of the steering wheel is detected electronically.
