The device has a remote control case including a remote control transmitter (2) for cooperating with a receiver of a locking system of a vehicle. The transmitter is actuated by a locking control button (21). A pick up device (4) includes an optical system (42) that is directed in a transmitting direction of the transmitter. A liquid crystal display (5) displays an image. An image display button (41) connected to a CPU (6) is automatically actuated by the locking button for controlling the pick up device which takes an image of the vehicle and a vehicle`s environment.
