PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for performing broader music expression with performance using musical piece data by simpler operation.;SOLUTION: A CPU 11 reads the musical piece data indicating the performance content of the musical piece from a ROM 12 and automatically plays the performance part other than a chord part by using a sound source system 18. The performance of the chord part is performed according to the operation of a user to a pad group 15. When the user operates the pads constituting the pad group 15, the constitution sounds of the chord to be an object for sound production are simultaneously produced according to the velocity during the operation and are sounded dispersedly as arpeggio and either on of the above is selected and the constitution sounds are sounded by using the sound source system 18 according to the selection result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
