PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for building a traffic analysis model for analyzing the traffic characteristics of an arbitrary user from the user attributes and the calendar attributes based on the user attributes and the achievement traffic of existing users already contained in a network.;SOLUTION: A traffic characteristics analysis section 103 analyzes correspondence between the user attributes and the achievement traffic of existing users for every unit period specified by predetermined calendar attributes. A segmentation section 104a segments such correspondence as the user attributes match the calendar attributes collectively and correlates a value representing the traffic characteristics of each collected correspondence to each segment. A traffic analysis model building means 106 configures a traffic analysis model by using the user attributes, calendar attributes and traffic representation values of respective segments as teacher data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
