PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card game machine and a play method of card game which enables the awarding of a prize independent of the result of the determination of win or loss, especially with side betting imposed, concerning those which award prizes corresponding to the result of the comparison of player's hand cards with dealer's hand cards. PSOLUTION: In the card game machine 1, piego poker is carried out. In the piego poker, determination of win or loss is made from the comparison of the player's cards and the dealer's cards (S11) and a prize corresponding to the result of the determination is awarded. Under the side betting (S14 and S114), regardless of the result of the determination of win or loss, the first group of cards is determined from the dealer's low hand (S15) and the second group of cards from the player's high hand (S16). A bonus determination processing (S18) is carried out with respect to a group of cards for bonus as the combination of the first and second groups of cards and a bonus dividend based on the determination is awarded (S119).
