PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell outer ring for a one-way clutch effectively prevented from being slid in a housing and capable of suppressing product cost.;SOLUTION: This shell outer ring 12 for a one-way clutch is used for the one-way clutch 11 that allows the rotation of a rotating shaft in only one direction and prohibits the rotation in the other direction. Specifically, the shell outer ring comprises a cylindrical part 13, an arcuate flange part 14 projecting radial inward from the axial one end of the cylindrical part 13, and a rotation-preventing part 16 axially extending from the position different from the axial one end flange part 14 of the cylindrical part 13 along the outer diameter surface of the cylindrical part 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
