PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell outer ring for a one-way clutch with product costs suppressed, capable of precluding effectively a slip in the housing of the outer ring.;SOLUTION: The one-way clutch shell outer ring 12 is used in one-way clutch 11 which admits the rotation of a rotary shaft only in one direction and hinders rotation in the other direction. Concretely, it is equipped with a cylindrical part 13, an annular flange 14, 15 provided at the end at least on one side in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 13 in such a way as protruding inward in the radial direction, and a turn stopper part 16 provided at least in one place on the circumference of the flange 14 in such a way as extending outward in the radial direction from the forefront of the flange 14 and also stretching in the axial direction along the peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
