PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matching method that maximizes a lender's return on investment while reducing the interest paid by borrowers.;SOLUTION: An automated method of matching lenders of money with borrowers of money comprises a step of receiving a plurality of offers, each offer being received from a lender of money, and each offer specifying a loan amount; a step of dividing the loan amount from each lender into a plurality of loan units, each loan unit representing a maximum amount that can be lent to one borrower; a step of receiving a request for a quotation from a borrower, the request specifying an amount to be borrowed; a step of matching loan units from a plurality of lenders with the borrower, wherein no more than one loan unit from any one lender is matched with the borrower: and a step of outputting to the borrower a quotation based on the matched loan units.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
