PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape for working interval adjustment and the adjustment method of a working interval for reducing the consumption of a precious tape for product, and for suppressing cost increase, and for saving resources by adjusting interval setting at a working device side without using any tape for product to be actually used.;SOLUTION: The tape for adjusting working interval has a plurality of types of patterns for optical reading indicated in parallel in the width direction of a tape base material in parallel with the flowing direction of the tape base material, and the pattern for optical reading having interval specification information to specify an interval for working.
