PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a voltage detecting device for detecting each cell voltage of a fuel cell stack and facilitate assemble to the fuel cell stack. PSOLUTION: The voltage detecting device is equipped with a voltage detecting board 10 on which an A/D converter 12 for detecting cell voltage of the fuel cell stack 1 comprising a plurality of unit cells of a fuel cell connected in series is mounted, and a CPU board 20 on which a CPU 22 for monitoring the cell voltage based on the output of the A/D converter is mounted, and in the voltage detecting board, the board surface is extended in the same direction as the stacked surface of the unit cells and arranged on the side surface of the fuel cell stack, and in the CPU board, the board surface is made to cross to the voltage detecting board and arranged to the same side surface of the fuel cell stack.
