PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carried metal catalyst for carrying a metal or a metal compound finely with a high degree of dispersion on a metal oxide carrier.;SOLUTION: The carried metal catalyst manufacturing method includes (a) a process of surface-treating a metal oxide carrier with a solution containing a compound having at least two carboxyl groups and bind at least one of the carboxyl groups to the metal oxide carrier, (b) a process of immersing the surface-treated metal oxide carrier in a solution containing ions of the carried metal and binding the metal ions to at least one of the remaining carboxyl groups of the compound and (c) a process of drying and calcining the product of the process (b) to remove the compound.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
