IRREGULARITY INSPECTION METHOD, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF DISPLAY PANEL AND IRREGULARITY INSPECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irregularity inspection method which enables the acquisition of a result near to the result of a sensory test due to an inspector, a manufacturing method of a display panel using the irregularity inspection method, and an irregularity inspection device.;SOLUTION: In the irregularity inspection method for inspecting the presence of irregularity in the panel material, the panel material becoming an inspection target is photographed under a plurality of level conditions (step S1), a plurality of primary images are acquired from the photographing result (step S2), processing is applied to those primary images so as to emphasize a change in the images to form a plurality of secondary images (step S3), the secondary images are synthesized by predetermined weighting to form a synthetic image (step S4) and the presence of irregularity is judged on the basis of the synthetic image (step S5). Then, the predetermined weighting is determined so as to discriminate a region where irregularity is caused and another region when the secondary images are formed with respect to an instruction panel material wherein irregularity is caused and synthesized to form the synthetic image.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
