PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chicken egg package which enables a used container with no printed sheet or no sticking paper piece to be reused as a resource by requiring no operation of peeling the printed sheet with printed advertisement items and various other necessary items from the container and has an advantage of exactly selecting the size of a chicken egg stored in the container with no error in an exhibited state in a market, and also to provide a packaging method used for the same. PSOLUTION: The container C for packaging the chicken eggs, which is formed of a resin sheet, includes a container body 1 having individual recesses 11 for individually storing the lower half part or the almost whole of each chicken egg, and a lid 2 for covering the upper half or the upper surface of each chicken egg. The chicken eggs are stored in the individual recesses 11 in the container body 1, and in a lid-closed state in which the upper surface of each chicken egg is covered with the lid 2, the entire outer peripheral surface is covered with a flexible thin film 4 which enables the inside of the container to be seen and is colored with a size identification indication color that indicates the size of the stored chicken eggs, and a packaging method for packaging the chicken egg package body.
