PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power circuit which supplies power to a charge control circuit that can perform a general constant current-constant voltage charging system and also can improve the charge efficiency, to provide a charging apparatus which is equipped with the power circuit, and to provide a method of supplying power to the charge control circuit. PSOLUTION: A DC-DC converter 2 boosts the first voltage V1 so that it may be larger by specified voltage than the voltage geared to the battery voltage Vbat being the voltage of a secondary battery 10, for example, the battery voltage Vbat, and outputs it to the charge control circuit 3 as output voltage Vout1, and the charge control circuit 3 performs specified constant current-constant voltage charge to the secondary battery 10, using the output voltage Vout1 as a power source.
