PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a distance and a direction with respect to an index by setting the index serving as a known mark in an objective environment, and to guide a vehicle to support parking thereby. PSOLUTION: The two indexes with a known diameter and a space are arranged as the known marks in the objective environment, in the present invention, a laser beam is emitted horizontally at every fixed angle, and a laser range finder is fixed on the moving object to calculate a distance thereof. Relative angles and positions with respect to positions located with the two indexes are calculated based on values of the distances and angles of the indexes measured by the laser range finder. Relative distances and angles between the laser range finder fixed onto the vehicle and the positions located with the two indexes are calculated to thereby guide the vehicle.
