PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immobilizing support for a new protein having an amino acid sequence enabling the specific and efficient linking of a protein to the immobilization support through a carboxy terminal. PSOLUTION: The immobilization support holds a protein adsorbed to the support by an electrostatic interaction, wherein the protein is composed of an amino acid sequence expressed by general formula R1-R2-R3-R4-R5 [the sequence shows the sequence directed from the amino terminal to the carboxy terminal; the sequence of R1 segment is a sequence of the immobilization object protein and free from lysine and cysteine residues; the sequence of R2 segment may be absent, and if present, is a spacer sequence composed of amino acid residues other than lysine and cysteine residues; the sequence of R3 segment is a sequence composed of two amino acid residues expressed as cysteine-X (X is an amino acid residue other than lysine and cysteine residues); the sequence of R4 segment may be absent and, if present, is a sequence free from lysine and cysteine residues and containing an acidic amino acid residue causing the isoelectric point of the protein of the amino acid sequence of the general formula: R1-R2-R3-R4-R5 as a whole to fall in the acid side; and the sequence of R5 segment is an affinity tag sequence for protein purification], and the segment expressed by R1-R2 is used for the immobilization on the immobilization support.
