PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a light metal composite material by which the light metal composite material can be easily and safely manufactured at a comparatively low temperature, production of unnecessary reaction product can be prevented as much as possible, the light metal composite material can be manufactured in a comparatively complicated shape, the light metal composite material of high purity with less impurities components can be manufactured, and the light metal composite material with inorganic powder having comparatively large grain size being dispersed therein can be manufactured.;SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the light metal composite material is characterized in that inorganic powder is filled into a cavity of a mold, then the light metal in a semi-molten state is subjected to the pressure infiltration in the inorganic powder in the cavity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
