PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method on the existence of nucleic acid amplification for obtaining a high-sensitivity determination result by a simple process.;SOLUTION: The existence of nucleic acid amplification is determined based on a change in electrochemical characteristics of a reaction liquid that makes a nucleic acid amplification reaction. Further, this method for detecting a target nucleic acid in a tested specimen includes a step of refining nucleic acid which is the tested specimen, and a step of causing a nucleic acid amplification reaction to be made in a reaction liquid containing the refined nucleic acid for amplifying the target nucleic acid to determine the existence of nucleic acid amplification of the target nucleic acid in the reaction liquid by using the method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
