PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the buoyancy by making use of the volumetric change associated with the phase change between the solid phase and the liquid phase of a substance.;SOLUTION: A buoyancy adjusting device 10 comprises a paraffin wax 1 whose volume is changed as the phase is changed between the solid phase and the liquid phase, a temperature regulator 15 for regulating the temperature of the paraffin wax 1, and a volume-variable container 16 whose volume is changed as the volume of the paraffin wax 1 is changed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
