PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline dual-phase hydrogen permeation alloy having hydrogen permeability and resistance to hydrogen brittleness, and useable at 473K or higher.;SOLUTION: A dual-phase Ni-Zr-Ta-based crystalline dual-phase hydrogen permeation alloy is composed of a composite phase which has an eutectic (NiZr+ZrTa) structure with NiZr phase containing solid-solution of Ta and ZrTa phase containing solid-solution of Ni, and has the structure surrounding the ZrTa phase generated as the primary phase by the above eutectic structure or the structure surrounding the NiZr phase generated as the primary phase by the above eutectic structure, and the alloy composition in the range surrounded with Ni₄₅Zr₅₅, Ni₅₅Zr₄₅, Ni₅₀Zr₃₀Ta₂₀, Ni₄₀Zr₃₀Ta₃₀, Ni₂₅Zr₁₅Ta₆₀, Ni₁₅Zr₂₅Ta₆₀ (wherein, all the alloy compositions indicate atomic%) in a Ni-Zr-Ta- three dimensional diagram.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
