PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a difference generated between a plurality of database management apparatuses for managing the same data without depending on data storage formats. PSOLUTION: A data difference solving apparatus 10 is connected to database management apparatuses A20, B22 for managing data of the same contents having different character codes. Under the constitution, the database management apparatus A20 extracts data from the database management apparatuses A20, B22, converts the extracted data into a prescribed storage format, prepares difference solving data for solving a difference of databases from the data of respective databases whose storage formats are converted, converts the prepared difference solving data into storage formats respectively corresponding to the plurality of databases, and reflects the converted difference solving data to the database A21 of the database management apparatus A20 and the database B23 of the database management apparatus B22.
