COLOR SHIFT EVALUATION METHOD FOR NEWSPAPER, AND NEWSPAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly evaluating a color shift troubles, generated during a pester in a newspaper rotary printer.;SOLUTION: The invention includes the newspaper color shift evaluation method, and the newspaper. In the newspaper color shift evaluation method, the newspaper is cut, and a rectangular specimen having a length of 15 mm in the width direction, orthogonal to the winding direction is collected. A stress relaxation rate is measured, after the specimen has been applied with a load that is less than a breaking load of the specimen as the load of 0.6 kgf and the quantity of expansion is fixed. The newspaper color shift evaluation method predicts color shift generated, when the rotary printer prints the newspaper at the stress relaxation rate, and determines that the color shift is within the allowable range, if the stress relaxation rate is 15% or lower.
