PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating plate for preventing mixing of oil and water, which is made to prevent a mixture of oil and water by interposing a sheet material on the boundary between the oil and water.;SOLUTION: The floating plate is used when the oil is put into a storage tank of a fryer for storing the oil and water into vertical two layers, put on the top of a water layer to cover the surface of the water so as to separate the oil and water, and configured to form a sheet material impermeable to the oil and water, lighter than the water, and having a specific weight similar to that of the oil. The fryer includes the floating plate. The method for putting the oil into the fryer includes putting the floating plate on the top of the water layer when the oil is put into the storage tank containing the water, pouring the oil on the floating plate in the storage tank, slowly sliding the floating plate on the boundary between the oil and water in one direction along the boundary between the oil and water after the surface of the oil is settled, and bending and drawing up the floating plate to remove the floating plate from the storage tank.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
