PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorbing system for a steering column for a vehicle, capable of stably absorbing impact added to the steering column.;SOLUTION: The system includes a mounting plate hole, a curling plate pin, a trans-bracket to be coupled with an outer tube, a trans-bracket hole formed in the trans-bracket, a curling plate provided through the trans-bracket hole and the mounting plate hole to surround the curling plate pin, a curling plate guide to surround the curling plate, and be coupled with the trans-bracket, a mounting plate slot, and a curling guide coupling part to fix the curling plate guide and the trans-bracket, and be movable along the mounting plate slot at the time of a collision.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
