HEALTH FOOD COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING AND AMELIORATING OBESITY AND LIFESTYLE-RELATED DISEASE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health food composition derived from natural substance, having no risk of byproducts and usable for preventing and ameliorating chronic disease such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipemia, cardiovascular disease or heart disease so-called the lifestyle-related disease. PSOLUTION: The health food composition comprises the following: (a) components having an appetite-suppressing function; (b) components having a digestive enzyme activity-inhibiting function; (c) mushroom/chitosan composite polysaccharide components; and (d) dietary fibers. The composition may be formulated in addition to the following components other than the components (a)-(d) described above: (e) components supplementing the digestive enzyme activity-inhibiting function; (f) components inhibiting fat malabsorption, or promoting a fat-burning and -excreting function; (g) components having an intestinal environment-improving function; (h) components having a function of inhibiting carbohydrate absorption, a sugar transferring capability-promoting function, an insulin production-promoting function or an insulin accepter-activating function; (i) components having minerals; (j) components having vitamins; (k) components having amino acids; (l) components having a total blood cholesterol-suppressing function; and (m) components having an elevated blood pressure-suppressing function.
