PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settling apparatus with enhanced settling capacity and efficiency.;SOLUTION: This settling apparatus 1 is installed in a settling pit 2, and is provided with multiple slanted plate units 3 stacked with multiple slanted plates slanted in relation to the horizontal plane with given spaces; an introducing pipe 4 for supplying treating object water w to the respective slanted plate units 3; and multiple branch pipes 5 for water supply.
