PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component collating method, a component information managing method, a component mounting method, a maintenance method of component mounting apparatus, a component collating apparatus, a component mounting apparatus, and a program wherein a collating work of components can be executed with good work efficiency using a scanner not having a display screen.;SOLUTION: The component collating apparatus 10 for collating components mounted on a board by a component mounting apparatus using a portable input apparatus includes a collation executer 14 for detecting an operation performed to the portable input apparatus, concerning the collation of the components; and an input data processor 11 for displaying data, concerning the operation on a display screen of the component mounting apparatus to which an assembly of the components should be set.
