PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely naturally propose a point allowing passengers including a driver to take rest action to reduce fatigue of them by preventing the passengers from exchanging unnecessary concerns with one another.;SOLUTION: The rest point proposal device and system are provided by being controlled to acquire route point information related to a route point existing in a rest area which is set by an area setting part 21 and where passengers riding on a vehicle want to get out of the vehicle to take a rest, and related to genre information without being stored as retrieval history in an information retrieval history storage part 15, and to provide the acquired route information to the passengers at timing calculated based on the present position of the vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
