PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a publication article providing method and a publication article providing system which makes available electronic data of a desired article out of a plurality of articles put on the same page of a publication by an easy operation. PSOLUTION: Each article on each page of the publication 40 is attached with a check box 41. When the user checks the check box 41 of an article for which he wants electronic data, a mobile terminal device 10 photographs the whole page containing the article by a camera and then sends it out to a publication data storage device 20 for storing electronic data of articles. Upon reception of the image of the page containing the desired article, the publication data storage device 20 provides electronic data of the article corresponding to the checked check box 41 to the mobile terminal device 10 via a network 30.
