PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute only the data reproduction of media by a general-purpose driver not corresponding to a prescribed format while obtaining a system for performing recording in the prescribed format to a specific media.;SOLUTION: The media driving device performs authentication processing between host equipment and itself. The authentication processing is authentication processing between the host equipment and a driver (software as a file system driver on an information processing apparatus side) to subject the specific media to recording in the prescribed format and is processing to confirm whether the information processing apparatus side can perform recording access in the prescribed format in viewing from the media driving device side.
