PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA probe chip for performing the hybridization of polynucleotide in a specimen solution of DNA, RNA or the like with the probe DNA fixed on a substrate at a high speed in a high yield, and a hybridization method. PSOLUTION: The surface of the DNA probe chip (the surface of a solid phase having a probe fixed thereto) is set to positive potential and a target polynucleotide having negative charge is electrostatically attached to the surface of the DNA probe chip while the concentration gradient of the target polynucleotide is formed from the solid-liquid interface of the surface of the DNA probe chip with the specimen solution containing the target polynucleotide toward the specimen solution to make hybridization efficient.
