PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sure rust-preventive effect over a long period by simple constitution, by perceiving a structural characteristic feature of a vertical coming-in and -out port type gas meter.;SOLUTION: A gas meter cover 1 is formed of a thin-sheetlike resin of which the lower face is opened to allow attaching onto a metal casing from its upper side. The cover 1 is attached to the metal casing to cover also a related member attaching part in its upper side. The cover 1 has a pair of hole parts 11a, 11b of respective shapes substantially equal to a gas inlet part 20a and a gas outlet part 20b, corresponding respectively to the gas inlet part 20a and the gas outlet part 20b. The gas meter cover 1 of such constitution is positioned using the gas inlet part 20a and the gas outlet part 20b provided inherently in the gas meter, and covers the related member attaching part in the upper side of the metal casing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
