PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for a toilet bowl and a Western-style toilet bowl device equipped with the remote controller for the toilet bowl monitoring the use condition of a toilet bowl body and automatically notifying a user of the need to clean the toilet bowl.;SOLUTION: The remote controller 10 for the toilet bowl equipped with a function of monitoring the use condition of the toilet bowl body 20 and automatically notifying a cleaning request, comprises a discriminating means 15 for comparing and discriminating use condition information output from detecting means 11a, 11b, 21a, 21b provided at least at one of the toilet bowl body and the remote controller for the toilet bowl to detect the use condition of the toilet bowl body, with predetermined reference information at predetermined timing, and notifying means 12a, 12b outputting cleaning request signals.
