PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat housing method in a toilet seat washing device for a Western-style toilet bowl allowing the installation of the toilet seat washing device also in a vehicle or the like by forming a washing chamber compact, low in height and less in depth.;SOLUTION: The toilet seat housing method is provided for housing a toilet seat 2 while rotating the front part of the toilet seat 2 to be lifted and moving it downward from the washing chamber 3. A rotating shaft 4 is secured to the rear end of the toilet bowl 2, and a gear 5 is secured to the end of the rotating shaft 4. A rack part 6 is arranged inclining at the lower part of the washing chamber 3, and it is preferable to use a mechanism for housing the toilet seat 2 in an raised state in the washing chamber 3 while the gear 5 is meshed with the rack part 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
