PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy foil which can obtain superior electro static capacitor and foil intensity, by etching with a mixed aqueous solution containing hydrocloric acid and sulfuric acid. ;SOLUTION: In this aluminum alloy foil for an electrolytic capacitor anode, (1) 6-60 ppm of Fe and Si, (2) 15-70 ppm of Cu, (3) 0.5-50 ppm of Ni and (4) 1-50 wt.% of Pb to Ni content are contained, and (5) the residue is composed of Al and unavoidable impurities. In this case, it is preferable that the Pb content in the surface layer part from the foil surface to a depth of 0.1 μm be 40-2,000 ppm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
