PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the block time of a running vehicle running on a course having an already known distance can be calculated by setting a desired section at the time of obtaining the block time, and to provide methods of evaluating running vehicle and tire using the calculated block time.;SOLUTION: In the method of calculating the block time of the running vehicle running on the course, the car speed data of the running vehicle at every time interval are respectively multiplied by the time interval by using a computer and the car speed data are corrected so that the integrated value obtained by successively accumulating the products may become equal to the distance of the course. Then running distance data are calculated from the corrected car speed data and the block time of the running vehicle is calculated by finding the number of data contained in desired two different points on the course from the running distance data corresponding to the two different points and multiplying the number of data by the time interval between the two points. In addition, the running vehicle and its tires are evaluated by calculating the contribution rate of the difference between block times found in a plurality of sections to the running time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
