PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a relief-like depth to an image having a discrete depth.;SOLUTION: A pseudo three-dimensional image creating device imparts a pseudo depth to the image having a discrete depth. The device consists of an object creating means creating an object by connecting adjacent pixels which are included in the image and whose discrete depths are equal and unifying the adjacent created objects when they exist, a depth imparting method deciding means for drawing segments on the created integrated object and a pseudo depth operating means for imparting continuous and a smooth depth on the pixel on the segments drawn densely by defining a depth function on the segments drawn densely.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
