Bicycle dynamo and bicycle lighting device equipped with the bicycle dynamo

The dynamo has a rotor with permanent magnets rotatable with the rotation of bi-cycle wheels. A stator has a stator core with pole pieces that face the magnetic poles of the magnet. A coil is arranged at a position, in which magnetic field strength lines of the magnets are extended through the pieces. The core has a voltage limiting circuit (62) to limit the output voltage of the dynamo for discharging heat generated by the circuit to the core and to reduce temperature rise of the circuit. The circuit is attached proximate to the coil, where a zener diode (66) is used as the circuit.
