The bicycle lighting has a dynamo (1) driven by the bicycle wheels and supplying a rechargeable battery (7) to provide power for the lights (15,18) fitted to the bicycle. The charging takes place through a rectifier and current regulator circuit (4). The current from the dynamo is sufficient to supply the lights and to recharge the battery simultaneously.
