PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting pin for an earth-retaining panel in an open and cover tunneling method, etc., in which there is no possibility of the loss of parts by unifying the connecting pin and a slipping-off preventive member. ;SOLUTION: The connecting pin 30 is inserted into the communicating holes 22, 24 of the fitting sections 21, 23 of the two mutually combined earth-retaining panels 11 and connects both fitting sections 21, 23 in the open and cover tunneling method, etc. The connecting pin is composed of a shaft section 31, which is inserted into the communicating holes 22, 24 and in which a front end section is projected from the fitting sections, a collar section 32 installed at the base end section of the shaft section 31 and abutted against the side face section of the fitting section 21 when the shaft section 31 is inserted into the communicating holes of the fitting sections, a slipping-off preventive member 37 movably mounted within a specified range in the orthogonal direction to the shaft section 31 at the front end section of the shaft section 31, and a holding member 39 housed in the shaft section 31, brought into press-contact with the slipping-off preventive member 37 by an elastic member 40 and held under an inoperable state or the slipping-off preventive state by the slipping-off preventive member 37.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
