PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for low-temperature culture of a bacterium with which the bacterium is cultured in high density.;SOLUTION: The method for the culture of the bacterium comprises adjusting a culture temperature to a temperature lower than a proliferation optimum temperature so that the specific growth rate of the bacterium becomes ≤20% of a specific growth rate at the proliferation optimum temperature. The bacterium is cultured in an extremely high density by the method.
