PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace wall structure of an electric furnace preventing generation of heat crack and burn out without damaging sealability of a furnace cover.;SOLUTION: The electric furnace 1 is equipped with an electric furnace main body 4 consisting of a furnace bottom 2 and the furnace wall 3, and a furnace cover 5. A water-cool panel 7 made of iron is mounted on the upper part of the furnace wall 3 by replacing a refractory 9, and a water-cool panel 8 made of copper having larger curvature than the curvature of the inner periphery of the furnace wall is mounted on the part to which heat load is especially applied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
