PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a ceramic member for jointing, with which sufficient jointing strength of a metalized layer is obtained even when the ceramic member for jointing is fired at a lower temperature and to provide the ceramic member for jointing, a jointed body, a vacuum switch and a vacuum vessel. ;SOLUTION: The method of producing a ceramic member for joining is a method of producing a ceramic member 1 for jointing, having a metalized layer 11 which is used for jointing with a metal member 3. In this method, the metalized layer 11 is formed by mixing a mixture containing, by weight, 70 to 97% high melting point metal powder of W and/or Mo, 1 to 10% Ni powder, 5 to 10% Mn powder, 0.5 to 2% Ti and/or TiH2 powder and 2 to 15% SiO2 powder with an organic binder to produce a past being a metalizing ink, then coating a ceramic base material 9 of a ceramic fired body with the metalizing ink and baking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
