PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to effectively use hewn trees as upgraded materials for pavement plain boards for sidewalks, flower pots, plant cultivation beds and plant cultivation frames or the like by forming fermented tree materials into the specified shape through a binder. ;SOLUTION: To prune trees and effectively use the hewn trees, the hewn trees are fermented. In this case, the trees are preferably chipped prior to the fermentation and the surface area of the trees can be increased by chipping, so that the fermentation process is facilitated in the following fermentation step. Chipping the hewn trees is performed by the method to grind the trees using a chopper grinder and further, grind using a mill grinder. The size of the chips is to be decided in accordance with fermentation conditions in the fermentation step, its installation or the like, but is preferably 50 mm or less, especially 30 mm or less and further especially 20 mm or less. Fermentation bacteria are mixed with the tree chips, then the mixture is left alone for a specified period of fermentation, and the fermented tree material is molded to the specified shape through a binder.
