PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system and as method in which a production process is fully automated, in which especially a process to inpect the outward appearance of a work is fully automated and by which a production efficiency is enhanced by a method wherein the outward appearance of a work being conveyed is inspected through a visual inspection part and a work which is recognized as a conforming product is integrated into a tray by a work integration part. ;SOLUTION: A work charging part 104 takes out a work 10 from a tray 50 so as to be charged into a rotation and conveyance part 102. In a visual inspection part 106, a stellar inspection part 170 performs a light-emitting inspection by a high voltage and a high frequency, and a first exclusion station excludes a work 10 which is recognized as a defective product. In addition, visual inspection stations 174A to 174D, a swiveling station 176 and a reversing station 178 are installed around the rotation and conveyance part 102. A second exclusion station 180 excludes a work 10 which is recognized as a defective product as a result of inspections by the visual inspection stations 174A to 174D. A work integration part 108 integrates, into the tray 50, a conforming product out of works 10 whose cisual inspection is finished.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
