USE OF THE TRIBENURON-METHYL HERBICIDAL COMPOSITION IN SUNFLOWER HYBRID CROPS

The invention relates to the use of a herbicidal composition based on tribenuron-methyl, for the control of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in the crop of sunflower hybrids which are genetically improved to resist tribenuron-methyl. According to the invention, the composition comprises 0.1...90% tribenuron-methyl in admixture with agriculturally acceptable additives and, possibly, in admixture with another sulphonyl-urea herbicide, and is conditioned as dispersing granules, moistening powder, concentrated emulsion and gels.
