METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LEVEL OF PEA WEEVIL (BRUCHUS PISORUM L.)

A method for controlling the level of pea weevil (Bruchus pisorum L.) involves settling parasitic insects into agrocenoses. When the seed grain is damaged for 0.4-0.6%, single spraying of the edge bands of fields of 4-5 m in width at the stage of forming tendrils on peas is carried out by use of insecticide Actara 25 WG w.g. (water-soluble granules) 0.1 kg/ha. In addition, three-time settling of Uscana (Uscana senex Trese.) onto the pea weevil is carried out. The first settling of Uscana is carried out at the beginning of flowering of the peas with a consumption rate of 40 thousand individuals per 1 ha. The further two settlings of the parasite is carried out with an interval of 8-10 days with a consumption rate by 50 thousand individuals per 1 ha.
