A method for correcting the disordered cell immunity, humoral immunity and cytokine status in the patients with the chronic obstructive disease of the lung at the stage of the acute condition provides for the oral administration of Arbidol as the inducer of the endogenous interferon at a dose of 100 mg twice a day 30 minutes prior to the meal for 10 days.
