The invention relates to electric engineering and may be used for repair of wires for overhead transmission lines. According to the invention it is performed repairing damaged wires in aria of suspension straps of a suspension clamp of overhead transmission lines of intermediate passages. First, over damaged section it is wound current-conductive spirals, then after boat, with the suspension clamp has been mounted, from its both sides two spiral protector-fixers are mounted, every protector being not less than thee spiral coils. In case damaging 100% current conductive layers of wire or its break, to damage sections it is mounted a connector made from steel spirals, than all technological operations in accordance with this method are realized. The method allows repairing damage wires without substantial loss of property within boat aria in intermediate passages of overhead transmission lines.
