CLAMP FOR REPAIR OF WIRES OF OVERHEAD TRANSMISSION LINES AND METHOD FOR INSTALLATION THEREOF

FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for repair of high-voltage power transmission line wires with damages of strands and simplifies manufacturing, design of clamp, simplifies and speeds up assembly. Clamp contains a saddle and a casing made of an electrically conductive material; at that, the saddle length exceeds the casing length. Seat is made of chute-shaped profile, and casing in form of hollow cylinder, section of which is removed in segment corresponding to diameter of wire. Said seat is fitted in casing to displace therein. Wire should be able to contact both inner surface of seat and inner surface of jacket. Clamping method includes bringing the clamp to the wire until its rest in the bottom of the chute of the seat, turning the casing before closing the wire and fixing the wire in the clamp. Crimping is used for fixation or current-conducting gluing or hardening substances are applied, or these methods are combined.;EFFECT: invention provides faster clamp installation on wire and higher quality of wires fixation.;9 cl, 4 dwg
